I Married UP with wife Nathalie who is way out of my league, and couldn’t be prouder of my son Troy, currently studying engineering at Western University. 

I'm a cancer survivor. In 2006 I was diagnosed with Leukemia, and my two and a half year fight taught me lasting lessons. To try hard to make the best of every day, and to be so very appreciative of friends and family. My favourite quote is from Barbara Bush:

“At the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict, or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with a spouse, a child, a friend, or a parent.” 

I’ve also learned that life is too short to be anyone other than my authentic self. I need to stay true to my principles and treat others how I want to be treated. This is not a dress rehearsal. I really feel lucky to be living here in the best city in the world, close to family, and to be here, on so many levels.
